The subject of this thread mentions Professional Plus which is a volume license version for large corporations. Although the names are similar they are 2 distinct licenses, with very different license terms. Since then they only sell full price new licenses.

The only remaining “upgrade” is the new license can be installed “over” an older license to pick up existing Office configuration information.
